Resolving ‘Your Jetpack Has A Glitch’ Error In WordPress

Sometimes, new WordPress users who try connecting or reconnecting Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin on their self-hosted WordPress sites notice this error message:

“Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: xml_rpc-32601”

So if your website is also jammed in situation like this then your problem is about to get resolved. 

First thing you should do is check whether you have a cache plugin installed in your website. If so then delete all cache, deactivate the your cache plugin and visit your admin area Dashboard -> Updates page and reinstall WordPress.

If you are using the popular W3 Total Cache plugin then:

  1. Visit your admin area dashboard Performance -> General Settings page
  2. Delete all cache, disable all its caching modules
  3. Visit your admin area Dashboard -> Updates page, reinstall WordPress
  4. Reconnect Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin.

As soon you authorize it, you will be able to use all Jetpack modules like before.
