By default all WordPress comments are managed from admin area dashboard ‘Comments’ page. The page allows you to filter comments and pings but there is no option to filter comments by their specific post type.
Comments by Post Type is the new WordPress plugin that separates comments by post type in WordPress admin menu.
It simply moves the comments that are made to pages and other custom post types to separate sections located within the post type menu. Hence, you can easily manage comments separately for regular posts and custom post types.
Start by installing ‘Comments by Post Type’ plugin in your WordPress site.
Upon activation the plugin automatically make changes. There are no configuration options to set, it immediately starts working on activation.
