Start by installing ‘WP User Groups’ plugin in WordPress
Upon activation, you can create new groups and types from your admin area dashboard Users -> Groups & Users -> Types page.
Groups & types work for users in the same way categories & tags work for posts. Once groups and types are created, you can add users to them by editing their profile and ticking the boxes under ‘Relationships’ section.
