New WordPress plugin provides you a user friends and very simple redirect editor for managing redirects. It gives you a simple test area for editing .htaccess-style 301 redirects, one per line.
First install and activate Redirect Editor plugin. The type each redirect rule one on each line in following given format. It simply ignores lines left black and lines starting with # sign, you may use # for placing comments.
/2012/09/old-post/ http://www.example.com/2012/09/new-post/
After activating it you can access it from Dashboard-> Settings-> Redirect Editor for configuring your redirects.
