When a new website is created either by admin or any other user, WordPress automatically sends an email to the new site administrator. In this lesson you will learn how to customize this welcome message and use something custom for promoting your website.
Start by logging in to your WordPress multisite network and navigate to admin area dashboard My Sites -> Network Admin -> Dashboard.
Scroll down to ‘New Site Settings’ and you will be noticing two text areas: First text area is ‘Welcome Email’, it allows you to customize email sent to new site owners and second text area if ‘Welcome User Email’ which allows you to customize email sent to new site users like authors, editors, subscribers etc added to website by the admin or super admin users.
You can easily customize default email messages and then save your changes.
