I welcome you Justin at SANGKRIT, please tell our netizens about yourself?

I have been in the Information Technology for 17 years and I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. That natural drive to be out front pushing the boundaries has served me well during my career, allowing me the opportunity to develop a broad range of technical experience. The past 3-years I served as the Director of Cyber Security for a large multi-billion dollar contractor to the United States government. In this capacity I’ve dealt with cyber security challenges on a daily basis. On my personal time, I have also helped family, friends and neighbors with their computer issues, which often resulted from malware. These problems were often difficult, time consuming and expensive to solve. To make matters worse, solutions were often far too complex, making it difficult for people to achieve complete protection online.

It has always bothered me that netizens have little to no control over who is watching them, collecting their personal information or tracking their every move while surfing the net. It’s not just cyber criminals out to grab your information, either. Today even legitimate businesses take advantage. We are getting hit from every angle.
I knew that there had to be a better way. I wanted to create a solution that was simple, effective and affordable, that would allow anyone to use the Internet with complete protection. This led me to develop Sycure.

How did you come up with the concept of ‘Sycure Internet Browsing’ ?

The industry reports vary but in general 85% of malware comes from browsing the Internet. This made starting with browsing the obvious choice for launching Sycure. My area of expertise in technology is that of a systems integrator. I like the analogy of a jigsaw puzzle. Sycure Internet Browsing is a merger of complementary technologies that work synergistically, creating a “system” that provides complete protection, versus a “product” that is limited. For example, anti-virus software focuses on anti-virus, while anti-tracking focuses on tracking. Sycure is not limited to just browsing.

How many people got associated for working together ?

The main idea for Sycure is something I came up with, however having an idea and getting it off the ground are entirely two different things. Sycure is a start-up company comprised of four like-minded individuals.

What are you plans for the future of ‘Sycure Internet Browsing’ ? What other projects you are currently working on ?

Sycure Internet Browsing is only the beginning. We will quickly expand into SycureMail, SycureBox and SycureSMS. In addition, we will expand to small businesses offering them the same protection that we provide the home user. We will also expand Sycure Shield to help protect from other vulnerabilities that are leveraged to infect systems with malware. This includes email applications, video players, mp3 players, PDF readers, etc. The flexibility, ease of use and ability to quickly adapt is one of the things we are most excited about.

What makes your endeavors unique on Internet?

There are many good security products and services on the Internet today, but none of them are great. Our solution is preventative, it is built to provide protection before problems occur. Sycure is unique because it is not limited to just a browser, it is portable and it completely isolates your computer from the Internet.

I am open for interviewing all those individuals, who own their domain to somehow create virtual wealth in webspace since sustaining freedom is mostly built around domains running wonderful utilities in webspace that human beings enjoy. What is your opinion for continuing this?

The Internet continues to change how we work, live and play. Sycure’s mission is to make it as safe and secure as possible, which can only help facilitate continued growth and success on the Internet.

What is your ultimate message for netizens?

Most people don’t realize how easily their systems are compromised and how often. Cyber theft is big business and it is not going away. Protecting yourself online should be as important as locking your doors at night. Just because you cannot see the threat, does not mean it isn’t there. Our goal is to make the Internet safer and more secure for everybody.
