Step-1 Install and Activate BuddyPress

Step-2 Install and Activate BuddyPress Followers

Step-3 Install and Activate BuddyPress Activity Stream Hashtags

Step-4 Visit your BuddyPress Settings from Dashboard and disable components forums, groups, friend connections etc. you like to remove from your microblogging site.

Step-5 Now from your Dashboard-> Settings-> Reading, under the section front page display; Select Static page as home page and choose Register or Actvity page as home page of your site
