Facebook added new metrics that allows page owners to know their fan impression on posts. It records number of views from fans, unique visitors and traffic coming from sponsored stories.
Facebook added new metrics to to its Insights API :
- Post impressions fan (post_impressions_fan) – Number of post/page impressions among page fans.
- Post impressions fan unique (post_impressions_fan_unique) – Number of fans who see post/page.
- Post impressions fan paid (post_impressions_fan_paid) – Number of fan impressions resulted from ads and promoted posts.
- Post impressions fan paid unique (post_impressions_fan_paid_unique) – Number of fans who saw a page post in an ad or promoted post.
