Install and activate Responsive WordPress Slider – Soliloquy Lite plugin. After activation the plugin adds a new admin menu ‘Soliloquy‘ in admin area dashboard. For creating your first slide visit your Dashboard -> Soliloquy -> Add New page, click ‘Select Files‘ button and upload images.
From ‘Config‘ tab you can select your slider theme, default dimensions, transition and speed etc. Third tab ‘Misc‘ allows you to edit title of your slider, slug and you can also add custom CSS classes. When you’re done, click ‘Publish‘ button and copy the shortocode.

There are two methods of inserting any slider. First is by copying its shortcode either at the time of creating it or from all sliders page at Dashboard -> Soliloquy -> Soliloquy. But the easiest way of inserting sliders is the ‘Add Slider‘ button added next to ‘Add Media‘ button in add new & edit content pages.
