Threaded commenting allows your commenters to reply each other’s comments on a blog post. By default WordPress supports threaded commenting with 5 levels deep i.e the original comment, its replies and then the replies to that comment and so on upto 5 levels.
In this tutorial we will show you how you can control this leveling on your WordPress site.
Login to WordPress and navigate to your admin area dashboard Settings -> Discussions page.
Under the heading ‘Other comment settings’ look up for the checkbox ‘Enable threaded (nested) comments — levels deep’.
Using this option you can enable/disable nested comments or change their threading levels, you can make nested comments upto 10 levels deep.
