Installing ClipBucket To Start Video Broadcasting Website

ClipBucket is a free video broadcasting website script that allows you to create YouTube like video sharing website with built-in networking features. 

To start a ClipBucket website, your server needs to meet following requirements:

  1. PHP 5.2.x & MySql 5.x.x
  2. PHP with Background Processing and Exec Enabled

First step you need to make is download ClipBucket script here. After the file is downloaded in your local drive, login to your Account and click ‘Manage’ button on Web Hosting to access your cPanel.

Click ‘File Manager’ visible in ‘Files’ section of your cPanel:

Click ‘Upload’ button to upload ClipBucket’s ZIP file you have downloaded in your computer’s local drive:

Now right click over uploaded ZIP file and choose ‘Extract’ option:

Navigate to extracted ClipBucket Directory -> Upload, select all files and move them to public_html or to subdirectory where you like installing ClipBucket video broadcasting website.

Now visit your cPanel home and click MySQL Database Wizard under Databases subsection. It provides you step-by-step process of creating new database, database username and password.

Now open or wherever you have uploaded ClipBucket files and then follow on screen instructions.

It asks you to enter database name, database username, database password (which you have created in last step) and hostname (here localhost). Complete installation process by following all on-screen instructions and then you will be able to start managing your video broadcasting website by visiting & for admin section.
