I welcome you Demi at SANGKRIT.net, please tell our netizens about yourself?
My favourite subject at school was languages and except for Greek and English I also speak French.
Like most women I love beauty and make up, but my biggest love and favourite hobby is creating decor, accessories and jewellery.
Iāve been in the world of blogging for almost a year and I have recently opened anĀ online shopĀ where I share my own creations.
Although my life has been very busy, my blog is one of my priorities and I always dedicate precious time to it.
How exactly your idea sparked?Ā What philosophy drives you for doing this?
Iāve always liked writing. I didnāt know anything about blogging, but without thinking it twice I decided to start my blogĀ Beauty and the Mist. It was a time of my life that for the first time I spent more time at home due to motherhood and had got used to staying up late. I didnāt know if my efforts would have any results, but I had the necessity to share with others my thoughts, my ideas and my creativity.
I strongly believe that we shouldnāt regret not doing something. Every dream has the right to become reality and we shouldnāt hesitate setting new goals.
How much time you spend on blogging ? How do you stay so up-to-date with information that you post on your blog ? Any weblogs you follow ?
Blogging consumes much time of my life and during the day with every opportunity I am in front of the computer, I create articles or projects or take photos for new posts on the blog. I try to visit other blogs too, most of them are women blogs which deal with beauty or DIY projects, but Iām also interested in reading the latest news. Late at night is the best time I can totally concentrate on my work.
What makes your endeavors unique on Internet ?
Every blog has its own style. If there is something that makes the difference on my blog, this is the fact that whatever is posted there, is created by me from the scratch. I personally take the appropriate photos and edit them, create unique DIY projects and even useĀ Beauty and the Mistās original music on some of my videos.
Any future plans ? Working on some other projects also ?
What have you found to be the most challenging part in blogging ?
The whole experience is so educative. I entered a new world which taught me so much about technology, gave me the chance to meet new people who appreciate my work and it made me more ambitious. For me the greatest challenge is to compete with yourself and try to become better than yesterday.
What efforts you do for promoting your blog and building your readership ?
Even if you present the best material, you need to promote it to make it known to others. You canāt just write something and wait for it to be discovered. Social media can help you achieve that. Ā FacebookĀ andĀ Google plusĀ are the ones I use the most. Recently I have been also asked to write guests posts. My limited time doesnāt let me do it more systematically, but it is a recommended way to promote your work.
I am open for interviewing every upcoming individual, who owns aĀ domainĀ to somehow create virtual wealth inĀ webspaceĀ since sustaining freedom is mostly built aroundĀ domains running wonderful utilities inĀ webspaceĀ that human-beings enjoy. What is your opinion for continuing this?
It is a great initiative to discover people who take blogging seriously and promote their work. It is my honour to be featured here and you should definitely keep up interviewing people who have something to share.
What is your ultimate message for netizens ?
Itās too early for me to feel confident enough to give advice to other bloggers, I still have a lot to learn and share. A message that could help new bloggers or people who have started blogging timidly and are afraid to open their wings is that ābelieving is achievingā. You need to believe in yourself first and your abilities, so that others believe in you. Donāt try to imitate others because this can be destructive and stressful. You can use other blogs simply as examples and work according to your time and your abilities.
