VirusTotal is an online virus scanner where you can upload files and scan them for viruses, worms, trojans, and malware. This is not all but it also allows you to check any website or URL for online threats.
Start by visiting their website i.e. virustotal.com and then follow the steps, it is quite easy to use
Simply click on ‘Choose file’ button to upload file from your computer’s local drive. You can upload file up to 128 MB in size and then click on ‘Scan it!’ button.
The scanner will now scan your file and show you the report with detected warnings.
