WordPress announced HD (high density) interface for all WP weblogs. All WP sites can now be optimized for HD display same as in Apple’s new Ipad and Retina MacBook Pro. It has been bundled in JetPack 1.6 so users having self-hosted blogs can also use it. Although WordPress has planned to integrate all these Retina features in the coming release of WordPress (WordPress 3.5). Besides this Pinterest share buttons are also been included in JetPack 1.6.

Now your image will be looking extra sharp to the one who views your Gravatar profile or Hovercard from a device like the iPhone 4. It has been suggested in Gravatar’s blog to update your image on Gravatar.com if you are using old cropped image of low resolution. Gravatar has increased the maximum size of the image to 2048px so now you can implement higher resolution images for your profile.
