Quick Preview is the new WordPress plugin that lets lets you to save-n-preview any post by pressing Ctrl+S key combination (Cmd + S on Mac).
Start by installing and activating Quick Preview plugin in WordPress
Upon activation visit your admin area dashboard Settings -> Quick Preview page and set the window preference. It lets you to choose whether you would like the post preview to open in a new window or the current window.
Save your changes and visit Posts -> Add New page or open any old post for editing.
Now use the Ctrl + S key combination on your keyboard to test this feature. This action instantly saves your post draft and opens up the post in new/same preview window automatically.
