Now you can quickly jump to any admin page from anywhere in your WordPress admin area dashboard simply by typing the admin page title, keyword on a dynamic search box.
Dashy is the new WordPress plugin that provides you a search box anywhere in your admin area by pressing Ctrl+SPACE. The search box pops-in, now you can simply start typing the name of admin section then click and you will be directed to that specific admin page. It also shows you dropdown list of suggestions to jump on various admin pages.
This way you can easily and very quickly get to pages, post, plugins, custom post types, faster. You can even search and get a to single post with the keyboard.
Start by installing ‘Dashy’ plugin in WordPress
Upon activation, use Ctrll+SPACE to open the search field. Now to get to a specific page, type “list” and choose “List Pages”.
From there you will be shown all of your pages that you can edit. You can search the page name, and hit enter to go directly to edit screen of that particular page. This works for posts, pages, and other custom post types.
