Few days back John Weldon, our blog reader tweeted us asking, “Is there any method to show a list of recently updated blog posts.” Yes there is, you do it very easily. WordPress plugin repository has few plugins for showing recently updated blog posts but as far I know only one works with WordPress 3.5 release.
Install and activate Last Updated Posts Widget, after activation visit your Widgets page from the Appearance menu present in your WordPress admin area dashboard. Drag and drop its widget to your sidebar and configure the given options. You can choose a custom widget title, date format and total number of posts to show. That’s all, refresh the front-end and enjoy.
Bloggers don’t usually ask for this feature but in some cases this feature is really helpful to make your visitors know what changes you have done in your post content.
