By default BuddyPress displays all profile information (the information added via profile groups & fields) into various heading sections. In this tutorial we will show you how to break those BuddyPress groups into various jQuery tabs.
BuddyPress Profile Tabs plugin simply uses the profile groups (provided in the BuddyPress profile fields options) to make them nice looking tabs using the jQuery UI. It also provides you a number of good themes you can choose from its admin page and make tabs match your website’s theme.
To start using tabbed layout in your BuddyPress profile, simply install and activate BuddyPress Profile Tabs plugin. After activation visit your admin area dashboard Settings -> BP Profile Tabs page and select a tab theme of your choice. That’s it, save the changes and you are done.
