How To Allow Your WordPress Blog Readers To Notify You About Post Errors ?

If you are running a personal blog or you are the only author of you WordPress blog then sometimes when you make mistakes, they are left as it is because there in no one to notify you for the content errors. May be your friends etc asks you about the common mistakes you are making but no guarantee unless you provide them an easy way to do it from the right place.

You can allow your visitors to notify you about you mistakes. Error Notification is a free WordPress plugin which gives power to your blog readers to notify you about any errors found inside your posts and pages.

How It Works?

  1. Someone visits your website where you have a post with this content: “WordPres started in 2003 with a single bit of code to enhance the typography of everyday writing and with fewer users than you can count on your fingers and toes.”
  2. Where, the first word “WordPres” is missing one “s” in the end.
  3. So, for notifying author about this, that visitor has to highlight a word “WordPres” and press Shift + E or click on a link under the content body.
  4. You will get an email that will have the page name, URL to that page and highlighted word/sentence.
