Easy Replace provides you a quick and easy way of finding and replacing phrases in no time on your WordPress site. It can be used over various categories of different posts and custom post types.
Earlier we have discussed about cloning and replacing posts. We have also discussed about finding and replacing old URLs to new ones. And how you can auto update all internal links after changing any single post URL slug.
In this lesson we will show you how you can update string text on selected post types like posts, attachments, navigation menus, page revisions and other post types generated by the plugins in your WordPress site.
Start by installing Easy Replace plugin in WordPress
Upon activation, visit your admin area dashboard Settings -> Easy Replace page and click ‘Add New’ button.
Type in the ‘Source String’ i.e. text you want to replace and ‘Destination String’.
Now use the drop down menu for selecting the post type where you like replacing the text and click ‘Add’ button. That’s it. This way you can replace as many strings you want on your website.
