Easily Hide, Save, Pin Lock Then Restore All Google Chrome Tabs In One Click

While working on many Google Chrome tabs, most of the people minimizes the browser instead of closing it. Bookmarks are also a quick way for accessing favorite websites. Sometime back we have discussed about Session Manager, the app which enables Google Chrome users to save complete sessions of multiple tabs  & and windows opened up in web browser so they can easily access them next time in same condition as they have left before.

Today, the tutorial is on a faster utility called PanicButton, very useful whenever you quickly want to pack-up all Chrome tabs and open a new browsing session or even close your web browser and then whenever you like restoring you packed tabs , all you need is another click. Let us see how.

PanicButton For Google Chome

First add the PanicButton extension in your Chrome browser. As soon you add it, it automatically starts displaying its icon on the top right side of your Chrom browser as shown in the following screenshot.

First click hides your tabs and the buttons turns green.

Another click restores your tabs and the button turns back red.

Where tabs go & how they come back?

Your tabs gets saved as as temporary bookmarks in a separate folder. Green PanicButton shows that some hidden tabs are saved in your browser. Another click on button (or F4) restores all of the tabs you have kept hidden earlier.In-case if anytime you don’t want restoring your tabs then just delete the “temporary Panic” folder in Chrome’s “Other bookmarks”-folder.

Clinking the panic button when no tabs are open takes you to its settings page from where you can enable/disable the panic button, change the keyboard shortcut (default is F4 key) for hiding and saving tabs, enable/disable password protection & more.
