You can very easily set certain blog posts hidden from home page of you WordPress based website. Shy Posts is a simple lightweight plugin that adds a checkbox in posts admin page (Dashboard -> Posts -> Add New). This checkbox allows you to tick those posts which you want to keep hidden from home page of your website.
Installation & Usage: Install and activate Shy Posts plugin and that’s all. Upon activation the plugin automatically adds hide box checkbox in ‘Publish’ metabox.
Remember, the plugin only works when your WordPress blog is on your homepage i.e. your home page is set as your posts page (from Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading page) not a static page.
